Anne Hill

It is with great pleasure that I announce the addition of Anne Hill to the Southern Maine Regional Resource Center for Health Emergency Preparedness. Anne brings years of experience onto our team with 3 degrees in Healthcare, Business Management, and Medical Instrumentation. Anne‘s most recent position was the Director of Facilities and Clinical Engineering at Elliot Health System in Manchester NH, includes a 296 bed hospital. Anne has been involved with Emergency Planning for many years (not only for 12 years a of Joint Commission Accredited Hospital) but also, Anne’s fascinating background in, planning, set up and operations of a 290+ bed field hospital for the US Army. Anne has seen active military duty, managing Engineering at a hospital in Fairbanks Alaska. Anne has worked at the US Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Disease at Ft. Detrick, MD and Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington DC. Anne is a certified healthcare emergency professional and has many certifications and professional affiliations.

On our team, Anne will be working on areas of education and planning for the Resource Center including Hospital Incident Command System (HICS), and Decontamination training. She will help with such projects as: Hospital Alternate Care Site Planning, Evacuation, Communications, Mass Casualty Management, Medical Reserve Corps Development, and a host of other topics. Her past experiences in healthcare and emergency planning will be an asset to SMRRC and the region.
